***It is recommended that you schedule an appointment to come in a few days before the date of surgery so the doctor can address any other concerns or findings.
***If your animal is not up-to-date on a rabies vaccination it is state law that we must vaccinate when they come into the hospital. There are no exceptions.
***Hospital policy is to treat any animals that come in with fleas, as contamination is a risk to other patients in the hospital.
Guidelines for Spays and Neuters
MISSED APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT NOTIFICATION ATLEAST 24HRS IN ADVANCE WILL NOT BE RECHEDULED.
MULTIPLE CANCELED APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED.
ONCE AN APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN MADE:
No food after 8:00pm the night before the day of surgery a little water is okay.
Drop off is between 7:30-8:00am
We believe it is safer for your animal to recover at home with your watchful eye. We do not have a staff member here 24hrs a day and it is the doctor’s preference and in your pet’s best interest to go home that night. Pick-up is between 3:00-5:00pm (depending on how fast they wake up.)
